Overdue oil change, done. New not $50 battery, done. Rats nest of aftermarket wiring under dash, ....
*By ready, I mean something is probably about to go catastrophically wrong.

Wait. When did you get a CX-5? Did I miss something?

I unfortunately have one as a loaner, and it makes me miss the first Jetta I got as one.

Really? they have nice interiors. I like our CX-3 and my coworker just bought a CX-5 Signature and I really liked it.
Do you just have a base?

It’s a Touring, so not quite base. It’s mainly the lack of space, and the fact that they sacrifice NVH and comfort for fun, and that part just falls flat. The Tiguan was more fun, better put together, more fuel efficient, quicker, and significantly better to live with.

I haven’t driven the Tiguan, but I believe it. The CX-3 was mostly for my wife and we don’t have any need for cargo space so it made sense.

Wouldn’t hold your breath, other than driving it into the ocean and needing the rear window to go down for an emergency escape, chances are it’s going to just keep running day after day..

Hahaha haha
That’s a funny joke.
